PARKING, BEACH ACCESS
Both Apollo, the north beach, and Playalinda, the south beach, have multiple parking areas for vehicles. Each parking area has a wooden walkway for beach access. Some are ramp ready for beach carts or wheel chairs.
We are locals and have spent time surf fishing many areas throughout Canaveral National Seashore, but the upgrades continue at each Parking Area. Only the latest information will do. All photos current as of August 2019.

Playalinda Parking Areas 1, 3, and 5 have stadium style full ramps right down to the beach and handicapped parking spots. 1, 3, 5 are located beachside. 1 has a couple of stairs down to beachside.
2 Oversize parking for RV owners. 3 spots are designated RV but 15 spots are oversized. 3 handicapped parking spots designated, but ramp is steep. Beachside parking. 2 is open again after construction Call ahead to check if you will be needing the oversized parking areas. Call Apollo Beach Visitors Center 1-386-428-3384 ex. 0. 4 has a ramp but is steeper incline so a bit harder for wheelchair access. If you have a fishing cart, the poles have to come off your cart until you get under the "header". The design of this ramp is something to behold. Beachside parking.
5 has a full stadium ramp and stairs to the beach, is beachside, and has designated handicapped parking areas.
6 Full Stadium Ramp Open, Beachside Parking, Restrooms.
Eddy Creek Parking Area is on the west side of the road, but the beach access ramp isn't too steep. Eddy Creek also has a nice gazebo picnic area up the ramp with a nice view of the ocean. The west side of Eddy Creek has parking for boat trailers, boat launch, the William Bartram Trail, and an awesome walk-out pier for manatee viewing. Kayak, canoe, and shore fishing yields nice sized redfish and black drum, among other species. Fiddler crabs make for good bait. These can often be found here by the boat launch.

7 has beachside parking, handicapped designated spots, and a full stadium ramp to the beach.
8 (Currently Closed for repair Dec 2019) has a slow easy ramp and handicapped parking spots. Refurbishing of ramp 8 should begin in the fall, according to a Canaveral National Seashore Park Ranger. We were told the design will facilitate extraction efforts for Emergency Response Teams and equipment. UTV's currently have no beach access for emergency purposes. Call Visitors Center 1-386-428-3384 ex.0 for Oversized Parking Information before heading out in the fall of 2019. We were told that construction will not begin until parking area 6 is complete. 9 and 10 have beachside access with stadium style ramp and stairs to beach.
11 and 12 have a few stairs upon entering the beach and are on the west side across the road. UPDATE: Since the September 2019 storms, all of the steps have emerged as erosion relocated the sand piles off the steps.
13 The last Parking Area at both Apollo (travelling south) and Playalinda (13 travelling north) are designated nude beaches. While nudity is not an offense to be arrested for in Volusia County, it is in Brevard County. Law enforcement generally does not enforce this law. As long as there are no complaints, Law Enforcement usually doesn't involve themselves but those choosing clothing optional are expected to stay in their zones. There is a sign warning of the "clothing optional" areas around parking area 13.
RESTROOMS
All Playalinda parking areas have restrooms. There is no running water at any facility. Below is an early morning picture of the area 8 restroom. The rest are similar with one person stalls. One for men, one for women, door locks, trash cans.

We will go inspect each area before the end of 2019 and post the findings here. We covered Playalinda first, then onto Apollo.
