🎣 White's Tackle Fishing Report 7-21-2020 🐟 Stuart Florida "Good Morning, Offshore the last few days was slow with a few kings and sails around to the south off the power plant with live bait in 80 to 100ft with a few cobia mixed in. The wind looks like it will stick around the next few days hopefully it will calm back down for the weekend. Inshore the trout bite has been steady to the north on soft baits around first light with a few redfish mixed in. The snapper bite along the channel and bridges has been good with live shrimp and white baits. The snook fishing has been steady in the inlet on the outgoing tide with live bait remember its catch and release till September 1st."
🎣 White's Tackle Fishing Report 7-22-2020 🐟 Stuart Florida "Good morning everyone. With the windier conditions we currently have, the Indian River may be your best bet. Decent Seatrout catches have been caught on soft plastics and shrimp, and even top water action if you can find a lee. The early birds are also finding some cooperative baby tarpon in the usual spots like the Sebastian River, Grand Harbor, and others, as well as some Snook. The beaches have been pretty unfishable, with plenty of weed along the east coast to go along with the rougher conditions, but hopefully calmer conditions for the weekend will lead to some better fishing. The inlets have been yielding pretty good numbers of Snook, but please remember that the season is closed thru next month. Offshore is obviously pretty bumpy, but for those heading out there have been Kingfish and a few Sailfish being caught south of Ft. Pierce Inlet in 80′ to 100′ of water. Good luck out there."

🎣 South Florida Weekly Fishing Report 🐟 July 23, 2020 Palm Beach Post "Working the seawalls using top-water plugs, anglers in the St. Lucie and Indian Rivers are having a blast catching jack crevalle. Many have been big and are ready to fight. When asked how big they were one shop owner joked “We measure them in fight time. You’ve got 10-minute, 30-minute, even an hour.” He said there had been lots of 30-minute ‘jack attacks’ recently. There have been snook caught working the dock lights at night. Black drum are being caught along the bridges using shrimp on a jig head. There is good snook action at the Jupiter Inlet and up into the Loxahatchee River. At the Boynton Inlet there are still lots of snook and tarpon congregating near the north jetty during the incoming tide. Most of the snook are around 80 yards east of the jetty while the snook are rolling near the color change."

🎣 St Augustine FISHING REPORT 🐟 Mythical flounder and a white shark, too "One of the better guides in the area, Tommy Derringer, reports that tarpon fishing is the best he’s ever seen. We talked last week about the tarpon behind the shrimp boats, but it’s been too rough this week to try that. Tommy’s been jumping all he can handle in the Matanzas Inlet, and releasing two or three a day (it’s a long way between hooking and landing a tarpon). There are also good numbers of small tarpon in the creeks down around Matanzas - from 10 to 20 pounds. There may be no better slice of the fishing pie than hooking these baby tarpon on light spinning outfits. It’s fast, furious and an aerial display. Try it. Tommy said they’re hitting live shrimp. With all the hoopla of the short snapper season over, most of the guides are getting back to targeting kingfish. It’s been rough fishing off the beach, and too windy to really work the local reefs and wrecks. That may continue for another few days. The good news is pogies showed up again north of the St. Augustine Inlet. And the guys in Flagler Beach say huge schools are making their way north this week. That’s good news for the Kingfish Challenge this weekend"

🎣 Juno Bait Weekend Fishing Outlook 🐟 (7/24-7/26/2020) "SURF/PIER- Rough conditions (by summertime standards) and lots of seaweed had the surf bite a little tough this week. Those willing to fight through the weeds found a decent snook bite. The snook are in both Jupiter and Palm Beach Inlets in good numbers. The Juno Beach Pier has had good snok action, with a handful of tarpon around as well. Good number of Spanish Mackerel around the pier over the past few days. The bobber rig or crappie jig have been the best bets for the macs."
🎣 July 24 fishing report from Byron Stout 🐟 "With thousands of Southwest Florida lobster divers headed to the Florida Keys for the annual sport season, next Wednesday and Thursday, local waters will be full of fish, but not fishermen. Think about the possibility of catching snook, redfish, tarpon and permit all in one day. They’ve been biting in Charlotte Harbor. For food fish, Saturday, July 25 is the last day of the open season for red snapper, offshore, where red grouper and lane snapper also will fill the bill o’ fare. LAKE OKEECHOBEE: Bradley Lytle of Roland Martin Marine Center in Clewiston reports bluegills still biting, but more scattered along Observation Shoal, the Rim Canal and Ritta Island, after the recent new moon. Dunk crickets or cast ultralight spinnerbaits for great action and fish fries."
